You can actually print your own 3D objects now, with Makerbot CupCake CNC. The kits are under $1000 and there are so many shapes that you can choose from. It’s crazy that you can actually start printing out your own plastic toys now!
Here’s a sample of what’s possible, a 3D Gothic cathedral printed from a 3D model:

Looks like you can totally build your own electric guitar kit via MakerShed! I remember in college I actually repaired my old guitar by soldering a connection that got pulled out when I was messing around. The board never really looked that difficult, and figured I could probably do it myself if I wasn’t drinking or lazy

I didn’t think this was possible, but it looks like you can actually build your own fusion reactor. Sooo close to Mr. Fusion, I can taste it…
